Health and Family Welfare Minister Mohammed Nasim yesterday urged BNP leaders to get ready for the next general election instead of waging movement, reports BSS. “Please get prepared for the next election instead of launching movement,” he said, adding, “BNP should join the election at any cost and I hope that they will do so.” Nasim was speaking while visiting the construction work of expanding portion of the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in the capital.
He said no political party can survive without taking part in election and BNP already has become weak for not participating in the last polls, he said.
Minister for Housing and Public Works Engineer Mosharraf Hossain, State
Minister for Health Zahid Maleque, Health Services Division Secretary M
Serajul Huq Khan and NITOR Director Professor Dr Abdul Gani Molla were
present, among others, accompanied the minister.
About the treatment of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Nasim he said, “We have arranged the best treatment for her but we have nothing to do if she does not receive it.”
He also visited the construction work of the National Institute of Digestive Diseases, Research and Hospital (NIDDRH) at Mohakhali.
