DSE gets new chairman

Professor Dr Abul Hashem has been elected the new chairman of Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE), reports BSS.
The premier bourse in a media release yesterday said he had been elected at a meeting of the board of directors.
Earlier, he also performed his responsibility as a director of DSE from 2010.
Dr Abul Hashem is working as the honorary professor of the Dhaka University Accounting and Information Communication Department.
Recently, he was also appointed as the vice-chancellor of the University of Scholars.
Abul Hashem is also a member of the University Grants Commission of Bangladesh.
