The Embassy organized the first photo exhibition on the life and legacy of Bangabandhu at the heart of Seoul in partnership with the Korean Culture Association on July 9-13 at the THEO Gallery, Gangnam.

Ambassador Islam also expressed her sincere gratitude to Chairman Mr. Sung Ki-hak for his kind support in organizing the photo exhibition.

Kihak Sung expressed his delight for the opportunity to become a partner with the Embassy of Bangladesh in organizing the photo exhibition on life and legacy of Bangabandhu.

He also highlighted the impressive socio-economic developments of Bangladesh in recent years.

Later, Ambassador Abida Islam presented a copy of the Korean version of Bangabandhu’s ‘Unfinished Memoirs’ to the Chairman which was unveiled by the Embassy on July 1.

Korean nationals, members of the civil society, and the expatriate Bangladesh community living in Seoul attended the programme.
