Bangladesh records 247 Covid-19 deaths, 15,192 new cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh registered the highest single-day deaths from COVID-19 at 247, raising the overall death toll to 19,521, says a press release of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on Monday.

Besides, 15,192 new cases were reported during the same period. With this, the total number of infections stood at 11,79,827 in the country.

Alongside, as many as 11,052 Covid-19 patients made recoveries in the last 24 hours, bringing the total recoveries to 10, 09,975 the release said.
