The Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) officially recognized the seventy eight selected football academies from across the country.
The BFF handed over the certificates to the representatives of the selected academies Sunday.
The certificates were handed over to the representatives of the academies through a formal ceremony held today at BFF Bhaban. Ataur Rahman Bhuiyan, BFF vice-president and chairman of the development committee, BFF general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag and BFF member Nurul Islam Nuru were also present on the occasion.
Certified academies will meet the criteria set by BFF, AFC and FIFA. The District Football Association (DFA) will take necessary steps to improve these academies.
Recognizing the academies, BFF vice president and chairman of the development committee Ataur Rahman Manik said: “Football will be properly developed through this project.”
