Fahim Saleh, co-founder of Bangladeshi ride-sharing app Pathao, has been found dead in his New York apartment on Tuesday (July 14) afternoon, according to three law enforcement officials who were briefed on the matter.
New York-based daily News reports that police found his decapitated, dismembered body from his apartment around 3:30pm local time.
A New York police department official said that the investigators believe the victim is tech entrepreneur Fahim Saleh.
The investigation was in its early stages on Tuesday evening.
Saleh bought the apartment for $2.25 million last year.
