Police arrested three persons from Barguna, Bogura and Jashore between Monday night and Tuesday for rape.

In Jashore, police arrested one Muzibul Haq on Tuesday noon for murdering a teenage girl after rape at Bhangura village in Bagharpara upazila.
 
He has confessed to rape and murder before the court, Additional Superintendent of Jashore police Touhidul Islam told the media.
 
Police said Muzibul had a love affair with the 13-year-old sister-in-law of his neighbour. On November 3, Muzibul called the girl to the village, where he raped and killed her.

Ziaur, the victim’s father, filed a case with Bagarpara Police Station.

In Barguna, police arrested a man from Langolkata village in Sadar upazila on Monday night for raping his own daughter.

The arrestee was identified as Nizam Mir, a resident of the village.

Abir Mohammad, officer-in-charge of Barguna Police Station, said Nizam raped his minor daughter on November 7 when his wife went to bring water at noon.
 
After the incident, he attempted to rape the fourth-grader several times.
 
Nizam confessed to his crimes during initial interrogation. The girl filed the case with police, the OC added.
 
In Bogura, police arrested a teenager for allegedly raping a four-year-old girl at Baniajan village in Dhunat upazila in the morning.
 
The arrestee was identified as Borhan Uddin Shyamal, 14, son of Jahangir Alam of the village.

Locals said Shyamal called the girl to his room and raped her around 10am.
 
On information, police arrested Shyamal and sent the girl to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for treatment, said Ismail Hossain, officer-in-charge of Dhunat Police Station.
 
A case was filed with the police station in this connection, the OC added.
