‘Taste of Korea and Japan’ 
kicks off at The Westin

A magical culinary journey of Korea and Japan titled ‘Taste of Korea and Japan’ awaits all food aficionados at the Seasonal Tastes restaurant of The Westin Dhaka in the capital’s Gulshan Area.

Kicked off on Monday, the 10-day food festival features many popular Korean and Japanese delicacies by Guest Chef Ryan Hong from Aracadia Phuket Resort and by Guest Chef Kazuro Takanashi from Kiroro Hotels in Japan.

At the festival, a melange of Korean and Japanese dishes such as Bulgogi, Bibimbap, Jap Chae, Kimchi, Dumplings, Yakitori, Udon, Sushi, Sashimi and Teriyaki are expertly prepared and offered to the guests by the Guest Chefs and the culinary team of The Westin Dhaka.

The food festival is a dinner only event and the buffet dinner is priced at BDT 6000 Net per person. On selected cards and premium users of different services may avail discounts and BOGO offers during the food festival.

A press conference was also held on Monday at the Grand Ballroom of The Westin Dhaka in connection with inaugurating the festival. Daniel Muhor (General Manager, The Westin Dhaka), Alamgir Morshed (Managing Director and Country Head of Global Banking, Standard Chartered Bank, Bangladesh), Farzana Hossain (Head of Marketing, Shanta Holdings), George Robertson (General Manager, Singapore Airlines, Bangladesh), R.K Banerjee (Key Account Manager, Transcom Beverages Ltd), guests from Embassy of the Republic of Korea & Embassy of Japan and high officials of The Westin Dhaka were all present at the press conference.
