The National Board of Revenue (NBR) collected Tk 323,18,93,885 crore on the first day of the week-long income tax fair, which is an increase by 48 per cent from the last year which was Tk 218,42,77,048 crore. On the first day of the fair, a total of 63,272 taxpayers submitted income tax returns throughout the country and all the fair venues including divisional headquarters and central one at the officers’ club in the capital yesterday.
