Fahmida Nabi releases new album ‘Bhul Kore Bhalobesechhi’

Popular singer Fahmida Nabi released her new audio album titled ‘Bhul Kore Bhalobesechhi’, a collection of modern Bangla songs. All the songs of the album have been written by Golam Morshed, while tune of the songs were done by late Lucky Akhand, Fahmida Nabi, Nawroz Nipo and Sajib Das.

Singer Subir Nandi unveiled the cover of the album at Bengal Boi premises in the capital’s Lalmatia area on February 15.

After the album launching ceremony, Fahmida Nabi rendered few songs from the album. She first presented the song titled ‘Ke Tumi’. Then she rendered the songs ‘Bishonnota’ composed by late singer-composer Lucky Akhand. At the programme, Fahmida Nabi also rendered ‘Bhul Kore Bhalobesechhi’, ‘Joto Kotha’, ‘Bhalobasa More Gelo’ and some other songs.

Fahmida Nabi’s maiden solo album ‘Tumi Tulonahina’ got released in the market under the banner of ‘Sur Sourav’ in 1989. After that, she had launched ‘Money Ki Porena’, ‘Dupurer Ekela Pakhi’, ‘Chartey Dewal Hathyat Kheyal’ and ‘Icchey Hoy’.

The singer made her first playback song in film ‘Durdesh’ where she lent her voice to ‘Bhaiti Amar Tumi Kedona’. So far, she has performed as a playback singer in more than 20 films.

She has also released a Rabindra Sangeet album ‘Amar Bela Je Jai’.
