50 injured in Habiganj clash

HABIGANJ: At least 50 people were injured in a clash between two rival groups at Mirzapur-Nasratpur village in Habiganj Sadar upazila here yesteray morning, reports BSS. The clash ensued between the groups of villagers over harvesting paddy of a field. Of the injured, 10 were sent to Sylhet Osmani Medical College Hospital and Dhaka in critical condition. Others were sent to different hospitals of Habiganj and Sylhet. Being informed, police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control, said officer-in-charge of Sadar police station Yasinul Haque.
