The Annual General Meeting of the Bangladesh Football Federation (BFF) will take place today at a resort in Gazipur. The meeting scheduled to start from 11am while the councilors from across the country have already arrived in the capital. The incumbent executive committee headed by Kazi Mohammed Salahuddin exchanging views with the councilors for last couple of days to hear their problems and seeking their suggestions for the development of football in Bangladesh. It was learnt that Kazi Salahuddin will again be a candidate for the BFF top post for the fourth successive occasions.
Most likely Tarafdar Ruhul Amin, a councillor of Saif Sporting Club, has already become a prominent figure in country’s football, has already showed his keen interest in the game and he has given donation to different first division clubs. He also played a key role in organizing the recently held Sheikh Kamal International Club Cup in Chattogram. He is also showing his intention to contest in the next BFF election as Kazi Salahuddin’s main rival. Tarafdar has also exchanged views with councilors while he met with them at a hotel in the capital on Thursday.
