India's Border Security Force (BSF) gunned down a Bangladeshi man inside their territory near Palianpur village of Maheshpur upazila yesterday. The deceased was identified as Abdur Rahim, 50, son of Abul Quasem of Baulia village in Sejia Union. Lt Col Quamrul Ahsan, commanding officer of 58 Border Guard Bangladesh Battalion, said BSF disclosed the matter to them at a flag-meeting around 4pm. Rahim with several others entered India to bring cattle. BSF shot him dead near pillar number 60 while his return.
