Drug trader held with 26,100 yaba tablets in Ctg

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested a drug trader and recovered 26100 pieces of yaba tablets after searching from Salt laden truck at Shah Amanat bridge area under Bakalia thana early Saturday.
The arrested youth was identified as truck driver Mohammad Moshiur Rahman Liton, 35, hailed from Patuakhali district.
Masfukur Rahman, Assistant Director of RAB-7 said based on information, a team of the elite force conducted a drive at the Rajbari Convention Centre of Bakulia around 5.45 am and seized 26100 pieces of contraband pills concealed inside Dhaka bound salt laden truck from Cox’s Bazar. RAB also detained the truck.
Masfukur Rahman told journalists that legal action will be taken against the detainee.
