Man strangled to death in Bogura

Police recovered the body of a man, who was strangled to death, in Sadar upazila on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Kholil, 55, hailed from Gopalbari Fokirpara in the upazila.

Officer-in-Charge of Bogura Sadar Thana Bodiuzzaman said Kholil went out home on Monday noon with his bicycle and did not return home last night.

 On information they recovered the body of Kholil this noon from a jute field at Kodimpara village.

Police also found a Gamsa round his neck. They also found his cycle beside his body in the jute field.

Body was sent to Shaheed Ziaur Rahman Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
