CHATTOGRAM: Police arrested two suspects in connection with the murder of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) Chattogram city unit leader Sudipta Biswas, from Baghona in city's Khulshi area early yesterday, reports UNB. The arrestees are Rajibul Islam Rajib, 21 and Mamunur Rahman Rabbi, 20, two activists of Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL).

Tipped off, a team of police conducted a drive in the area and arrested them in the dead of night, said Asif Mohiuddin, assistant commissioner of DB

police. On October 6, 2017, Sudipta Biswas, 26, son of Babul Biswas of Sadarghat area and assistant general secretary of BCL city unit, was beaten to death by miscreants in Dakkhin Nalapara area of the city.
