Canadian University of Bangladesh celebrated Bashanta Utshab (spring festival) on February 13 at its Banani campus. The daylong festival was very colourful, with the students, all dressed in yellow, enjoying sumptuous foods and a cultural programme. There were various stalls selling dishes like biryani, pithas and fuchka, and items such as watches and T-shirts.
Vice Chancellor Mohammad Mahfuzul Islam inaugurated the festival, while M Latiful Khabir, associate professor of Business School and head of students’ welfare, coordinated the event, says a press release.
