The handicraft items made out of elephant grass (hogla), paddy straw (khor) and sugarcane bark (akher chobra) will receive 20 per cent while light engineering will get 15 per cent cash incentive.

Exporters of leather products will be given 15 per cent when 10 per cent cash incentive will be entitled to exporters of crushed and finished leather from Savar Leather Industry city and ship export.

Export oriented apparel sector will get 4 per cent cash incentive instead of customs, bond and duty draw-back and small and medium garment factories will also get 4 percent cash incentive. Apparel sector will get 3 per cent cash incentive in USA, Canada and European Union (EU) for expansion of new markets and new products.
