27 police officials promoted to Addl DIG

In a major upgradation exercise in the police department, 27 police officials have been promoted to Additional Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police, reports UNB. According to a gazette notification issued by the Home Ministry on Tuesday evening, the 27 officials -- Superintendent of Police – were made additional DIG. The notification said SP of Tourist Police AKM Awlad Hossain , Deputy Commissioner (DC) of CMP Masud Ul Hasan, DC of DMP Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan, AIG of Police Headquarters Md Nazrul Islam, SP of Industrial Police Md Sayedur Rahman, DC of CMP Kusum Dewan, SP of Chapainawabganj Bashir Ahmed and SP of Dhaka Habibur Rahman, have been promoted to Additional DIG.
Besides, DC of DMP Anwar Hossain, SP of Chittagong AKM Hafizur Rahman, SP of Narayanganj Khandaker Mohid Uddin, DC of DMP Md Mafiz Uddin Ahmed, DC of DMP Md Abdul Baten, DC of DMP Imtiaj Ahmed, DC of DMP Md Ataul Kibria, DC of DMP Md Mainul Hasan, AIG of Phq Md Abul Kalam Siddique and SP of Rajshahi district Md Nisharul Arif have been elevated to the same rank (Additional DIG).
SP of Satkhira Chowdhury Manzurul Karim, SP of Khulna Md Habibur Rahman, SP of Rangpur Dr Shoyeb Riaz Alam, AIG of PHQ Md Rezaul Karim, DC of DMP Quiyumuzzaman Khan Khan, AIG of PHQ Md Aminul Islam, SP of Tangail Saleh Mohammad Tanvir and DC of DMP Md Abdul Quddus Amin have also got the same rank of promotion (Additional DIG).
