Achol-starrer ‘Aral’ awaiting censor board approval

Beginning in September of 2014, the shooting of actress Achol Akhe-starrer new film ‘Aral’ was completed with its filming at the different locations in Bandarban at the end of last year. Directed by Shahed Chowdhury, the film has been submitted to the Bangladesh Film Censor Board recently. Alongside Achol, actor Shahriaz and Bipasha Kabir have played lead roles in the film. Achol said about playing a unique role in the film, “Interestingly, I took part in a fighting scene being a blind person. After seeing a few scenes of the film, I myself cannot believe that it could be possible to carry out such a good standard fight scene in our country. On the other hand, the character of a blind girl came with enough opportunity to enact the role. I have enjoyed the work. I hope the viewers will be pleased to watch the film.
Director Shahed Chowdhury said about the film, “I have come to know that censor board has watched my film this Monday. I hope I will receive green signal from the board within a few days.”
“The film has been made based on a plain social background. There are many hidden characters in our society; I have tried to reveal a few of them through my film. I have made the film spending a long time. I believe that the audience will like the film”, Shahed added.
Singers Asif Akbar, Nancy, Porshi and Robin Islam have lent their vocals to the playbacks, whose music arrangement was done by Robin Islam.
DhakaLive has news that upon getting censor certificate, director Shahed Chowdhury wants to release the film at a snail’s pace. That is why he did not inform any possible date for the film’s release. l
