Int値 Mechanical Engineering Confce ends at RUET

RAJSHAHI: A three-day International Conference on Mechanical Industrial and Materials Engineering (ICMIME) - 2015 ended at Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology (RUET) yesterday, reports BSS. Mechanical Engineering Faculty of RUET organised the conference for the second time with the main thrust of promoting information of research and development on related topics and interchange updated scientific information among the researchers, developers, engineers, students and practitioners working worldwide.
Prof Dr Mustafizur Rahman from National University in Singapore addressed the closing session as chief guest while Prof Rafiqul Alam Beg, Vice-chancellor of RUET, spoke as Chief Patron with Prof Dr Mosharraf Hossain, head of Industrial and Production Engineering Department of RUET, in the chair.
Prof Dr Firoj Alam from RMIT University in Australia and Prof Dr Imdadul Haque, Department Head of Mechanical Engineering of RUET, also spoke as special guests. In his remarks, Prof Beg said the conference brought great opportunities for both researchers and industrial communities from home and abroad to share their knowledge and experiences. It also promoted intellectual and practical development in the field of mechanical, industrial and material engineering. He added that the event provided a platform to bring together academician, researchers, industrialists, practitioners and other related experts to share knowledge and experiences.
