First poster of ‘Gondi’ unveiled

After receiving an uncut censor certificate from Bangladesh Film Censor Board recently, the much-talked about film ‘Gondi’ has now unveiled its first poster. The poster was published on the official Facebook page of ‘Gondi’ on Wednesday evening. Gondi’ is the second film of Fakhrul Arefin Khan, who is best known for his directorial debut venture ‘Bhuban Majhi’. Fakhrul Arefin said about releasing the poster of ‘Gondi’, “A poster of any film is considered as the first outlook of the film. If I considered the film as a book, then the poster of the film will be the cover of it. In our industry, there is indifference about making the film posters. We have tried to represent the film for the viewers through the poster made differently than the conventional style. Since the film is a romantic comedy genre, we tried to leave an impression on the poster.”

The story of romantic-comedy film ‘Gondi’ revolves around a man and a woman aged 55 and 65 years respectively.

The main two characters in this film have been portrayed by noted Indian actor Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and seasoned Bangladeshi actress Suborna Mustafa.

The film also casts Subhasish Bhowmick, Majnun Mizan, Aparna Ghosh, Aman Reza and Payal Mukherjee in different characters.

The ‘Gondi’ team intends to release the film in the beginning of February, the director informed.
