Humaira Himu expresses
interest in theatre

Popular actress Humaira Himu who is currently passing a busy time in the acting industry, starring  in multiple drama serials, has last performed in theatre over a decade ago. Now, she has expressed her interest to work in the theatre arena once again.

Himu last appeared in theatre in 2008 acting in the theatre production ‘Khanchar Bhito Achin Pakhi’, directed by Jamal Uddin. She was an assembler in Nagorik Natyangan.

About her coming back to theatre, Himu said, “To tell the truth, I got really busy in TV dramas, so I could not make the time for the stage that I wanted to give. Now, after a long time, I have become accustomed to my schedule and have found time for theatre. The feeling that I get from standing on stage is beyond expressing. So, I am going to join a theatre troupe soon.”

The actress is regularly working in drama serials titled ‘Life partner’, ‘Bokulpur’ and ‘Chayabibi’, directed by Sayed Tareque, Kaiser Ahmed and Sazzad Hossain Dodul respectively.

On the other hand, today is Humaira Himu’s birthday. She is scheduled to attend shooting of ‘Bokulpur’ today, the actress informed.
