2 lakh units of Samsung Galaxy A2 Core sold in 4 months

STAFF REPORTER, Dhaka

Samsung has sold more than 200,000 units of smartphones assembled locally in the four months since the launch of its plant in Bangladesh in May this year.

The plant in Narsingdi is currently assembling products that account for 96 per cent of Samsung’s smartphone sales in the country.

According to an official of the company, the plant has assembled about 15 lakh units of smartphones this year and the company has a plan to assemble 25 lakh prices smartphones next one year.

After the successful operation of mobile phone  plant in Bangladesh, Samsung is going to launch TV LCM (Liquid Crystal Module) assembling this year.  

The factory has already been set up and the company will start  TV LCM (Liquid Crystal Module) assembling  within this year, an official of the company said yesterday.   

As an Android Go device, the Galaxy A2 Core comes preloaded with Google Go apps along with Samsung apps as well as all modern and attractive android features. Galaxy A2 smartphone features an ergonomic design and a selection of fascinating, glossy colors Blue, Gold, and Black, at the price of Tk 7,590,  a press statement said.
