Group show ‘Jolokabbo 2’ starts today

A month-long group art exhibition ‘Jolokabbo 2’ (Musings in Watercolour) will begin today at Edge Gallery in Gulshan of the capital.

The inaugural ceremony of the exhibition will be held today on the gallery premises.

The participating artists in the exhibition are--Alakesh Ghosh, Al-Akhir Sharkar, Anisur Rahman, Anisuzzaman, Ariful Islam, Azmeer Hossain, Biren Shome, Hamiduzzaman Khan, Jamal Ahmed, Kamruzzoha, Kauser Hossain, Mintu Dey, Monirul Islam, Nabaraj Roy, Nafiuzzaman Nafi, Nazmul Haque Bappy, Ranjit Das, Sabbir Ahmed, Samarjit Roy Chowdhury, Shakirunnahar Kanon, Sharmin Akter Lina, Shohag Parvez, Soikat Hossain, Sultan Ishtiaque, Warior Rahman Sami and Zahangir Alom.

Immerse into a dialogue between colour and water, often capturing the beauty of man’s love of his land and sometimes telling a stormier tale: Vibrant works by 26 watercolour specialists at Edge Gallery explore memories of the land in its various seasons.

Presented by Edge, The foundation as a continuation watercolour show, discover a spectrum of emotions portrayed through vivid paintings of nature, captured in the form of landscapes and riverine life.

The exhibition will remain open to all every day from 10am to 8pm, until October 16.
