BKSP face Meghalaya in final today

Bangladesh Krira Shiksha Protisthan  and Hopewell Elias Secondary School of Meghalaya will face each other in the summit clash of the U-17 boys Subroto Cup international football tournament after they won their respective semifinals here on Sunday.

In the first semi-final, Hopewell Elias Secondary School beat BSL +2 High School of Jharkhand 3-2 to reach the final. In the second semi-final, Bangladesh Krira Shiksha Protisthan defeated Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre 5-4 on penalty shoot-out to make it to the final.

The final will be played on September 17 Earlier, BKSP thrashed Air Force School, New Delhi 11-0 in a Subroto Cup international football tournament under-17 boys match here on Sunday.

On a day which saw high scoring matches, Army Boys from 11 Gorkha Rifles Regimental Centre defeated Sainik School, Imphal 12-1 in Pool A, while Tripura Sports School trounced Army Public School, Bhopal 8-0 in Pool B.ember 17 at the Ambedkar Stadium.

In Pool E, Govt. Pukpui High School, Lunglei, scored a 13-1 victory over BAF Shaheen School and College, Bangladesh.
