Bangladesh national team will also tour to India for two Tests and three-match T20 international series. And so, Bangladesh will send some players with their Under-23 team so that they can dovetail with the Indian condition which could be benefited them in the upcoming national team’s games.

Bangladesh A team will tour to Sri Lanka for two four-day matches along with three one-day matches. HP fast-bowling coach Champaka Ramanayaka has been given the responsibility of the head coach in the tour. Saiful Islam Khan will assist him during the tour.

Considering those tours in mind, the BCB selectors brought some changes in their squad for the rest Twenty20 matches of the Tri-nation series. They dropped Soumya Sarkar, Sheikh Mehedi Hasan, Yasin Arafat Mishu and Abu Hider Rony.

Regarding these tours, BCB Games Development senior national manager AEM Kawser Ahmed  said that they are discussing with the selectors to form the teams for the forthcoming tours of A team and Emerging U23 team.

“You know, we have Emerging team’s tour in India. Along with this, Bangladesh ‘A’ team will travel in Sri Lanka. Our national team is now playing Tri-nation series. So there is a big involvement of the players,” said AEM Kawser.

“We are discussing about the team who we can form our Emerging team among this big involvement. Bangladesh Emerging Team will tour to India for a five-match one-day series, which is slated to start on September 19,” Kawser told The Independent.

The first and second matches of the series will be played at the Ekana International Cricket Stadium in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh on September 19 and 21 respectively.

The third and fourth outings will be held at the same stadium on September 23 and 25 correspondingly. They will play the last and fifth match of the tour at the identical venue on September 27 before returning home.

Just recently Bangladesh Under-19 team returned home from Sri Lanka after finishing runners-up. They went down to India by five runs in a pulsating final in Colombo.

Earlier, Bangladesh defeated UAE, Nepal and Sri Lanka in their group matches before edging past Afghanistan in the semifinal. In fact the match between Bangladesh and Afghanistan was abandoned due to rain. However, Bangladesh moved into the final on the basis of becoming group champions.
