‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’
hits Dhaka today

‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’, a comedy-drama film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino, is going to hit the screens of two prominent multiplexes in the capital today. The film will be screened at the Star Cineplex of both Bashundhara City Shopping Mall and Shimanto Shambhar and also at Blockbuster Cinemas of Jamuna Future Park.

Produced by Columbia Pictures, Bona Film Group, Heyday Films, and Visiona Romantica and distributed by Sony Pictures Releasing, ‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ is an international co-production between the United States and the United Kingdom.

Quentin Tarantino’s ninth feature film is a story that takes place in Los Angeles in 1969, at the height of hippy Hollywood. The two lead characters are Rick Dalton, former star of a western TV series, and his longtime stunt double Cliff Booth. Both are struggling to make it in a Hollywood they don’t recognize anymore. But Rick has a very famous next-door neighbor...Sharon Tate.

The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, Emile Hirsch, Margaret Qualley, Timothy Olyphant, Austin Butler, Dakota Fanning, Bruce Dern, and Al Pacino.

‘Once Upon a Time in Hollywood’ had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival on May 21, and was theatrically released in the United States on July 26 and in the United Kingdom on August 14. l
