SPECIAL CORRESPONDENT, Dhaka

The August 21 grenade attack on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was planned from ‘Hawa Bhaban’ as per directives of Tarique Rahman and Khaleda Zia, and nobody would be able to release Khaleda from jail through movement, said Agriculture Minister Abdur Razzaque yesterday. He came up with the remark while addressing at a discussion in remembrance of slain people of August 21 at Bangabandhu Avenue in the capital. Those who killed Bangabandhu were behind the August 21 grenade attack to try to kill mother of humanity Sheikh Hasina and exterminate Awami League. “The August 21 grenade attack was an unprecedented occurrence in world. The heinous criminal offence was done by using the then administration, state machineries and intelligence as per directives of Tarique Rahman and his mother Khaleda,” the minister said.
