Shooting of animated film ‘Detective’ underway

The shooting of an animated film  ‘Detective’, based on a famous story by Noble Laureate Rabindranath Tagore with the same title, is well underway and will be released under the banner of Jaaz Multimedia. The animated film is being directed by Tapan Ahmed, who is also the animator and editor. The screenplay has been written by Tariq Anam Khan. Several star singers of the country will lend their vocals to the music of the film. A large portion of its shooting has already been completed and according to the production house, the dubbing part will be completed shortly in the next few days.
According to the managing director of Jaaz Multimedia Abdul Aziz, “Tapan Ahmed is a talented young individual of the new generation. We want to present something new to the viewers all the time. That is why we are making the film along with him.”
He further added, “Our goal is to reach the children of this generation with the story of Rabindranath Tagore. We also intend to make the film pleasurable for all kinds of viewers. In addition, we also want to assess the Bangladesh market for the opportunity of animated films. I believe that in the future, Bangladesh will see animated films made with big budgets. The country has many talented individuals who have the potential to make good animations.”
‘Detective’ is set to be released early next year.
