DL REPORTER, Dhaka
‘Tumi Mor Jiboner Bhabona’ to be re-released after 23yrs

Paying tribute to celebrated Ekushey Padak-winning lyricist and music director Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, young artist Zinia Zafrin Luipa will be rendering one of musician’s famous songs titled ‘Tumi Mor Jiboner Bhabona’ after 23 years in a new arrangement.

Audio-video production company Anupam Recording Media has taken the initiative aiming at reintroducing the popular song, written and tuned by Bulbul himself, to the young generation and the music lovers alike.

DhakaLive has news that the recording of the song has already been completed and the shooting of the song’s music video recently took place in the 300-feet area of the capital.

Singing the song in a new music arrangement, Luipa said, “Giving the proper respect to Ahmed Imtiaz Bulbul, I have tried my best in rendering the song. The rest is up to the audience to decide. I always try to sing every song to its highest potential. And, this song was no difference.”

The song was used in late film director Shibli Sadik’s film ‘Ananodo Asru’ in 1996. Singer Kanak Chapa lent her voice to the song at that time.

The new music arrangement of the song has been done by Mir Masum, while the music video of the song has been directed by Soumitro Ghosh Emon. The song and its music video will be released in upcoming Eid-ul-Azha.
