Child found dead

UNB, Sylhet

Police yesterday recovered the body of a minor boy from a fish enclosure in Jaintiapur Upazila in the district. The identity of the child, aged about one and a half years, could not be known yet.

Officer-in-charge of Jaintiapur Police Station Khan Mohammad Moinul said locals spotted the body of the toddler floating on the water of the fish enclosure at Pakhiteki around 10:30 pm and informed police.

The body has been sent to M.A.G.Osmani Medical Collegeand Hospital for autopsy.
