After a long hiatus, popular actor Ziaul Faruq Apurba will be seen sharing screen with veteran actress Sharmily Ahmed in a tele-drama titled “Apon Theke Por Bhalo”. Directed by Swadhin Fuad, the tele-drama will be aired tonight at 9pm on ATN Bangla. The story of the drama revolves around the characters of Apurba and Sharmily Ahmed, the director informed.

Regarding acting with Apurba again, Sharmily Ahmed said, “After a long time, Apurba and I are performing together in a tele-drama. To tell the truth, Apurba is one of the reliable actors in the current generation and he portrays his characters in any project naturally. His behaviour towards his co-artistes and others always amazes me. We both have tried our best to perform in ‘Apon Theke Por Bhalo’. I am hopeful about the tele-drama.”

On his part, Apurba said, “The story of ‘Apon Theke Por Bhalo’ is a good one. Nowadays, many tele-dramas are being produced that focus on the hero or heroine, but this story is completely different.”

“In real life, I actually call Sharmily Ahmed my Ma (Mother). I love and deeply respect her from the beginning of my career. She is a legendary artiste in the arena of acting. Spending time with her is always a memorable moment for me,” the actor said about his co-artiste.

Sharmily Ahmed is currently busy acting in various drama serials directed by SA Haque Olike and Faridul Hasan, among others. Besides, Apurba is also busy with multiple projects for the upcoming Pahela Baishakh. l
