All elected representatives will hold office for a year from the day of assuming office.

Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) President Rezwanul Haque Chowdhury Shovon while talking to reporters at Madhur Canteen on the campus yesterday afternoon said, “In every election we face problems but DUCSU election was fair. If not, the BCL won all the panels.”

Earlier, the BCL president said the previous DUCSU polls were marred by irregularities and violence, but now the situation has changed.

He called upon the agitating students, who are continuing protest over demands of re-election to DUCSU, to protect students' rights.
