Steelcase, one of the world’s largest office furniture manufacturers, has opened its first showroom in the capital yesterday. Developed in partnership with Work Space Technology, the new showroom at Ventura Triveni, Banani, in the capital will further strengthen the presence of Steelcase in the Asia-Pacific region, the company said in a press statement yesterday. After the launch of the Sri Lanka dealership in 2018, Steelcase has marked its entry into its second country in South-East Asia.
In a fast paced economy like Bangladesh, Steelcase’s user centric architecture, furniture and technology solutions will help the companies present in different sectors create workplaces that enable a meaningful people experience, while effectively optimizing the use of space.
The showroom opens doors to local and international businesses in Bangladesh, and will provide them with comprehensive workplace research, latest trends and an in-depth knowledge quotient from around the globe. The company is at the forefront of research, not only about the way people actually work but also how workplaces will look and feel like in the future, the statement said.
