Happy birthday Tisha

Actress busy with promotion of her latest film
DL Reporter, Dhaka
Happy birthday Tisha

Popular actress-model Nusrat Imrose Tisha, who is a winner of the National Film Award, is going to celebrate her birthday today. She has chalked out a busy schedule to spend the day with her fans and close ones. DhakaLive has news that Tisha will be spending the day promoting her recently released film ‘Fagun Haway’, directed by actor-turned-director Tauquir Ahmed, in various places. Later, the actress will spend the rest of the day with her family and friends.

Although Tisha was scheduled to participate in a tele-drama shooting today, she had to postpone the shooting because of the film’s promotional activities.

As the story of ‘Fagun Haway’ is based on the 1952 Language Movement, the movie crew intends to visit the Central Shaheed Minar, near Dhaka Medical College Hospital, and the Dhaka University area to pay their respects on the eve of International Mother Language Day.

Asked about the response to the film, Tisha said, “By the grace of the Almighty Allah, we are receiving huge positive responses for the film. Although the film centres around the Bengali Language Movement, it’s love that takes the story forward.”

“The audience seems to have liked the story and the renditions used in the film. It is a huge achievement for us. I am happy with the reactions I am receiving,” she added.

Apart from this, one of her tele-dramas, ‘Protidiner Moto Ekti Din’, directed by Chayanika Chowdhury, will be aired on RTV at 8pm on March 8. l
