BEZA Executive Chairman Paban Chowdhury yesterday handed over the final licence to Managing Director of KEZ Abdul Musabir Ahmed at a function at the Bangabandhu International Conference Center (BICC) in the capital.

Principal Coordinator (SDG Affairs) in Prime Minister Office M Abul Kalam Azad attended the function as the chief guest while Nitol Niloy Group Vice President and Lawmaker Selima Ahmed, Executive Chairman of the National Skilled Development Authority M Faruk Hasan and Chairman of the Nitol Niloy Group Abdul Matlub Ahmed, among others, were present at the function. The KEZ is being established on 91.63 acres of land in Pakundia upazila of Kishoreganj district.

Around 25,000 people directly and indirectly will get job in the economic zone within the next five years.
