‘Family Crisis’ brings together popular artistes

With an ensemble cast of well-liked artistes of the small screen, a new family-oriented drama serial, titled ‘Family Crisis’, directed by Mohammad Mostafa Kamal Raz, is currently under production and will be aired this April.

With National Film Award-winning actor Shahiduzzaman Selim in the central role, the other cast members of the drama serial include Sharmily Ahmed, Rozy Selim, Munira Yousuf Memy, Munira Mithu, Runa Khan, Shabna Faria, Shamim Hasan, Mithila, Sanjana Sarkar Riya, Sarika Sabah and child artiste Raisa among others in different roles.

Shahiduzzaman Selim said, “This is the first time I am working with Raz in a drama serial. After a long time, I am working in a drama serial with a good story. Raz is trying to direct this drama with utmost care. I, too, am trying my best to act out the character.”

“My co-artistes in the drama serial are well-known professionals in the arena of acting. Because of this, I’m hopeful about the project,” he added.

Sharmily Ahmed said, “I’d really like to thank Raz for making me a part of this drama serial with such a wonderful story.”

On the other hand, Runa Khan said, “Family-oriented dramas are always known to receive acceptance among our country’s audiences, as they want to find their own selves in these stories. ‘Family Crisis’ will give that satisfaction to its audience. I am really optimistic about the drama serial.”

Written by Maruf Rehman, the drama serial ‘Family Crisis’ is scheduled to be telecast on NTV in April. l
