Bannya’s new album released on her birthday

Eminent Rabindra Sangeet exponent Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya released a new album on her birthday yesterday. As a part of a special initiative, taken by Channel i, to celebrate Bannya’s birthday in a grand manner, a new Rabindra Sangeet album titled ‘Tumi Mor Pao Nai Porichoy’ was released under the banner of Impress Audio.

DhakaLive has news that Channel i aired a special episode of ‘Gane Gane Sokal Shuru’, a regular morning musical show on the channel, in connection of celebrating Bannya’s birthday yesterday. Along with the artistes of Surer Dhara, Bannya performed at the programme from 7:30am to 9am. Prominent singer Sadi Mohammad also joined with Bannya and her troupe on the stage.

In between the performances at the programme, the cover of Bannya’s latest album was unveiled by National Professor Anisuzzaman, Ali Imam and Fahadur Reza Prabal, among other guests, in the presence of Bannya.

Besides, Channel i managing director Faridur Reza Sagor greeted Rezwana Chowdhury Bannya with an ‘uttorio’ (a celebratory scarf).

Moreover, the singers of ‘Gaaner Raja’, a musical reality show of Channel i, joined with the artistes of Surer Dhara and they performed the famous song titled ‘Alo Amar Alo Ago Aloy Bhuban Bhora’ together.

The celebration of Bannya’s birthday came to an end with cutting a cake. Channel i broadcasted the programme live.
