A book of poems ‘Peace and Harmony’ written on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be displayed and a documentary on the themes of the book will be screened at a drama festival beginning in Kolkata, India, tomorrow. A drama ‘Jera’ based on the country’s Liberation War and produced by Jahangirnagar University (JU) Drama and Dramatics Department will also be staged in the three-day festival titled ‘Kathamukh Natya Uthsab-2018’ that will end on December 19, JU Drama and Dramatics Department Professor AKM Yousuf Hasan Arka told BSS yesterday. JU Drama and Dramatics Department got an invitation for staging the drama ‘Jera’ in the ‘Kathamukh Natya Uthsab-2018’, he said, adding “We have decided to exhibit the book ‘Peace and Harmony’ written on Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and screen the documentary made on the themes of the book in the festival”.
