Music of film ‘Deho Station’ released

The music of the full length feature film titled ‘Deho Station’, written and directed by Ahmed Tahsin Shams, recently finished its post-production work and the music of the film has been released. The music has been digitally released by etunes on their website etunes.com.bd. Listeners can purchase the songs sung by Fahmida Nabi, Tanzir Tuhin, Shamayla Behroze Rahman. Neel Kamrul directed the music of the film while the lyricists include Ahmed Tahsin Shams, Ishtiyak Foysol, Neel Kamrul.
The titles of the songs are ‘Bondhu Bihone’, vocal by Fahmida Nabi; ‘Shotto Mitthar Kundoli’ by Tanzir Tuhin and Hangsha Das Baul’s ‘Shyam Onge’, vocal by Shamayla Behroze Rahman. The cast of the film includes Moumita Mitra (Kolkata), Shahadat Hossain, S M Mohsin, Hossain Mohammad Belal, Ahmed Rana, Mohammad Iqbal Hossain, Farhana Iva and many others, and it is expected to be released by the end this year.
The story evolves around a prostitute and her daughter and their survival in society. The surroundings and its consequences have been explicitly depicted in the film.   
Tanzir Tuhin said, “Shotto Mitthar Kundoli is a new-genre song which tells the story, yet tells nothing. This is one of the songs I would proudly offer my fans,”
Fahmida Nabi said, “Bondhu Bihone is a tragic romantic song which can be seen from many characters’ perspective.”
According to writer and director Ahmed Tahsin Shams, “ To portray the gloomy life that prostitutes face and live, the film is in black and white.”
The trailer of the film can be seen on Youtube channel of etunes, music videos are shown on Gaangabangla Television, and songs are being aired on Radio Amar FM 88.4, Radio Today FM 89.6, Dhaka FM 90.4, Radio Dhoni FM 91.2 and many other private radio stations.
Moumita Mitra said over the phone, “This is my first film in Bangladesh. I am eagerly waiting for its release. The three songs, with their tune and lyrics, well-portrayed the content of the film.”
Moumita Mitra acted in various Kolkata telvision drama serials. She played prominent roles in Indian Bangla full length feature movies like Ashok Biswanath’s ‘Broshto Tara’, Bappaditto Bandapadhyaya’s ‘Shohora Bridge’, and Sumaiya Sen Gupta’s short film ‘Kalomash’.
Shahadat Hossain is also hopeful about the film and said, “The film is expected to reach a good height. The making of this film, screenplay and music over all will pave the journey to success.”
Shahadat Hossain has recently acted with Bollywood artistes like Rahul Bose and Shahana Goswami in Rubaiyat Hossain’s upcoming film ‘Under Construction’ where Shahadat has been paired with Bollywood actress Sahana Goswami, who has acted in Bollywood films like Ra-one, Rock On, Firaaq, Yun Hota to Kya Hota.l
