BUP wins Unilever BizMaestros-2018

Unilever BizMaestros-2018’ concluded in a grand festival in the capital on Thursday, the company said in a press statement.

The ninth season of BizMaestros began with Unilever conducting sessions across campuses.

Defeating 83 teams from top universities of the country, ‘Last Second’ from Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP) has been crowned as the champions of ‘Unilever BizMaestros-2018. The team will now proceed to participate in Unilever Future Leaders’ League (FLL) 2019 at London

First runners up was team ‘Good for Nothing’ from Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka and second runners up was team ‘We Got This’ from Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.  

Unilever Bangladesh collaborated with UNDP  for the first time to craft the business competition around the Unilever Sustainable Living Plan (USLP), UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and Unilever’s purpose–driven brands with the Central theme being WASH (Water, Sanitation & Hygiene).

Kedar Lele, CEO, managing director of Unilever Bangladesh, Mia Seppo, UN resident coordinator ,UNDP resident representative, Asif Saleh, senior director of Strategy, Communications and Empowerment for BRAC and BRAC International; Minhaj Chowdhury, CEO, co-founder of Drinkwell, Taqsem A Khan, managing director , CEO ofDhaka WASA was present at the programme.
