Official poster of ‘Debi’ unveiled

‘Debi’, one of the most anticipated films of the current year, has introduced the avatars of its lead characters one by one on social media platforms recently. Now, after all the speculations, teaser and a variety of posters, the film ‘Debi’ has finally revealed its official poster for the viewers on Tuesday. With the poster, the mystery of the film gets more intense than it already is.

‘Debi’ is based on the much-talked-about novel of famous writer, playwright and director Humayun Ahmed with the same title, which also features his famous creation Misir Ali—a brilliant character that the Bengali book reading audiences know and love.

Directed by Anam Biswas, the film stars Jaya Ahsan, Chanchal Chowdhury, Animesh Aich, Iresh Zaker and Sabnam Faria in the lead roles. The film has already created a lot of buzz among the audiences as.

The film ‘Devi’, which receives a government grant, has been produced by Jaya Ahsan’s production house C tey Cinema. The release date of ‘Debi’ has been set for October 19.  l
