Saaol Heart Centre launches ‘Oil-free Kitchen’ for health enthusiast citizens

As a first of its kind in Bangladesh, ‘Oil Free Kitchen’ of Saaol Heart Center (BD) Ltd. launches its catering and home delivery service with the mind to provide oil free untainted nourishing and delicious food to the health enthusiast citizens, as well as to the patients who are in a complicacy with their heart, liver, kidney, diabetes, high blood pressure, obesity, gastric, cancer, thyroid, hepatitis, arthritis, dengue, TB, and in particular to those who are at risk with oily foods. Besides, the kitchen will also prepare especial food for the maternity and the vegetarians.

The noble enterprise kicked off over a cheerful inauguration ceremony held in Dhaka that was presided over by the Principal of US-Bangla Medical College and Hospital Maj. Gen. (retd) Professor Bijoy Kumar Sarkar. Gracing the congregation as the Chief Guest, renowned author and storyteller Selina Hossain inaugurated the voyage of oil-free-food from Saaol.

Special Guests present at the ceremony were, among others, President of the Communist Party of Bangladesh Mujahidul Islam Selim, General Secretary of the Socialist Party of Bangladesh Comrade Khalequzzaman, Eminent intellectual Syad Abul Moksud, Dhaka University Professor Robayet Ferdous, Poet Asad Mannan, Additional Joint Secretary Monjurur Rahman, Ex DUCSU VP and Ex MP Aktaruzzaman, Director of Resource Integration Centre (RIC) Abul Hasib Khan, Editor of the Daily Amader Notun Somoy Naimul Islam Khan, Secretary of Health Department of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare Md. Sirajul Haque Khan, Director General of Bangladesh Television SM Harun-or-Rashid, social scientist and writer Professor Salimullah Khan, Professor M. Aktaruzzaman from Nutrition and Food Institute of Dhaka University, Senior Consultant of Saaol Heart Center (BD) Ltd. Dr. M Rahman, Director & Actor Monir Khan Shimul, philanthropist, businessman, Director and movie maverick Ananta Jalil and actress Barsha.

Poet Mohon Raihan, founder of Saaol Heart Center, Bangladesh in his welcome speech said, ‘Oil Free Kitchen’ actually is part of social movement that is designed to change the course and culture of oil-based heavy and spicy food that is immensely harmful for the public health in country.

Noted singer Mujib Pardeshi and Shama Rahman mesmerized the audience with their blissful voice. Besides, voice artist Shimul Mustafa recited a number of beautiful poems and drew big applauds.

The main attraction of the whole party, obviously, was a big luncheon with oil-free delicious foods of 12 different recipes coming right out from the kitchen for all the guests.

Besides relishing by themselves, a good number of people instantly made bookings for their own and dear ones in addition to making month-long regular orders.
