Seven-episode ‘Bou-er Doa Paribahan’ on Boishakhi in Eid

On the eve of Eid-ul-Azha, Boishakhi TV will air Eid drama serial titled ‘Bou-er Doa Paribahan’ as a part of their Eid programmes. Written by Alamgir Ahsan, the seven-episode drama serial is directed by Faridul Hasan. About the plot of the drama serial, Faridul Hasan Hasan said, “We are all accustomed with the words ‘Ma-er Doa’ (Mother’s blessing) and ‘Baba-er Doa’ (Father’s blessing), but are we familiar with the word ‘Bou-er Doa’ (Wife’s blessing)? The auto rickshaw of the main protagonist Dhola Miah is run by the blessings of his wife in the drama serial.”

The story is about wife’s blessing. A marriage between auto rickshaw driver Dhola Miah and Baila Khatun, a girl from an affluent family, is arranged by Jamburi Begum. Jamburi Begum demands to bride’s father Hekmat Ali that the groom currently drives an auto rickshaw on lease, the future of the couple will be secured if the groom would have his own auto rickshaw to drive. The story moves forward from this point.

Actor AKM Hasan will be seen portraying the character of Dhola Miah while Mosumi Hamid will be seen playing the character Baila Kahatun. The other cast of the drama serial includes Jamil, Sanjid Tanmoy, Rashed Shimanto, Amirul Haque Chowdhury and Chitralekha Guha, among others.     

The seven-episode drama serial ‘Bou-er Doa Paribahan’ will be aired on Boishakhi TV every day at 11:10pm, starting from the day of Eid-ul-Azha.
