Summit Corporation and General Electric (GE) will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on July11for establishing a joint venture for 2,400 MW combined cycle power plant, the company said in a press statement.
The agreement is a continuation of previous MoU signed for a joint venture with Mitsubishi Corporation to implement 2,400 MW combined cycle power plant and LNG terminal of 360,000 m³ project at Matarbari, Cox’s Bazar, Bangladesh.
GE will invest in equity and technology in the 2,400 MW combined cycle power plant.
