Afzal, Suborna come up with Eid telefilm

Seasoned actor Afzal Hossain and evergreen actress Suborna Mustafa make one of the best romantic pairs ever for Bangladesh’s TV plays. Whenever the duo comes together in any project, the audiences with immense interest enjoy the dramas all the time. As a result, the seasoned artistes often receive proposals for working together in different tele-dramas. However, they do not show interest unless the story pleases them in the way they expect.

On this Eid-ul-Fitr, among other projects, Afzal and Suborna have acted together in a telefilm titled ‘Akkhor Theke Uthe Aasa’ as the story and characters satisfied them enough to come in the same frame. The telefilm has been written and directed by Badrul Anam Soud.

In the story of the telefilm, Suborna Mustafa is a writer and Afzal Hossain is a character written by her, writer-director Soud informed.

Afzal Hossain said about acting with Suborna, “It feels really wonderful that our names are pronounced in the discussions about tele-dramas. This is a big achievement of my acting career, which is also a matter of pride for me. Now this is our responsibility of upholding the honour among the viewers.”

“I always like the stories written by Badrul Anam Soud. The story of ‘Akkhor Theke Uthe Aasa’ is different”, he added.

Suborna said about Afzal, “We have been friends for a long time. It can be said, we grew up together and we acted together on the stage from the same theatre. As a result, when we act together, there is always a comfort zone between us. In the acting field, Afzal Hossain is a name of belief as well as a place for reliability to me.”

The telefilm ‘Akkhor Theke Uthe Aasa’ will be aired today at 2:35pm on Channel i.
