Sanama wants to set firm footing in acting, anchoring

Sanama Faiz, a young model turned actress and host who made her place in the top 10 of ‘Lux Channel i Superstar 2012’, has come a long way ever since.  Although, she dropped out of the competition due to personal reasons, she never left the showbiz industry. Since then, the actress has modelled in television commercials, acted in tele-dramas and hosted television programmes.

Sanama expressed her desire to DhakaLive that she wants to set a firm footing in the arena of anchoring and that she wants to act in films as well.

The actress said, “If I find a good story with a good character, I definitely want to portray that role in films. However, what I wish more is to establish myself as an anchor and I am trying to do just that. Let’s see what happens next.”

Apart from this, Sanama has just stepped into another year of her life and tomorrow is her birthday. The actress will stay home and celebrate the occasion in a homely manner.

The last television programme hosted by Sanama was ‘Crime Patrol’ on ATN Bangla that finished airing last year. After that, she has been approached for hosting other television programmes.

The actress has recently shared screen with film actor Riaz for the first time in a tele-drama titled ‘Boka Pakhir Bhalobasha’ under the direction of Ferdous Reza. The tele-drama will be telecast soon, Sanama confirmed.    

Her current television commercials Adnan Al Razib’s ‘Robi’, ‘Bashundhara Tissue’ and Mezbaur Rahman Sumon’s ‘Junior Horlicks’ have gaining quite a positive response from the audience.
