Rahim, Seuty bag Dhaka Half Marathon titles

Abdur Rahim clinched the Dhaka Half Marathon 2018 title while Seuty Sabur won the women’s title. In the mini marathon women’s category Clara Di Giloramo was received the first prize.

“Dhaka Half Marathon 2018”, an athletic competition was arranged on Friday to highlight Bangladesh on the global platform from a new perspective. “Dhaka Run Lords” & “Thousand Miles Expedition” organised this event named “Dhaka Half Marathon 2018” which consisted of two parts, Half Marathon (21.1 km) and Mini Marathon (7 km).  The event was powered by Nestle Bangladesh Ltd. and the gold sponsors were Apex Footwear Ltd. and Milvik Bangladesh Ltd.

The half marathon participants started their run from Hatirjheel police plaza. They ran across Hatirjheel express way three times to complete their targeted 21.1 km. The allocated time for this challenge was 3 hours.  “Mini Marathon” started fifteen minutes after Half Marathon. The participants of this challenge ran through Hatirjheel expressway once to complete their 7 km run. The time allocated for this part was 1 hour.

Major General Abu Sayed Md. Masud, project director, Hatirjheel Integrated Development Project and  Akhtaruzzaman Khan Kabir, chairman, Bangladesh Parjatan Corporation distributed prizes.
