Ctg int’l Trade Fair begins

The month-long 26th Chittagong International Trade Fair (CITF) 2018 began at Railway Pologround in the port city yesterday, reports UNB. Shipping Minister Shahjahan Khan, MP, inaugurated the fair as the chief guest at Bangabandhu Conference Hall of the World Trade Center in Agrabad area while Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries President Mahbubul Alam presided over the inauguration ceremony. The fair, hosted by Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries, will remain open for visitors from 10:00am to 10:00pm every day.
Thailand, India, Iran and Mauritius along with some other countries showcased their products in 450 stalls and pavilions. Thailand joined the fair as partner country for the 14th consecutive term.
